31 May We NEED to do better.

This week has been a tough one.

Not only are we in the midst of one of the largest global pandemics the world has seen, but we also continue to bear witness to senseless acts of hatred – one human being against another.

We HAVE to do better then this.

George Floyd was an employee of The Salvation Army in Minneapolis.  He was a man who gave back to his community.  He loved his family.  Friends say he was a kind man, and while big in status, a gentle person.  He was a human.

As such, today we share an amazing video by Tyler Merritt.  Mr. Merritt pleadingly asks his viewers to look beyond the exterior – we are the same, doing the same things with similar intentions.

Our hearts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Mr. George Floyd.
