The Ridge Meadows Ministries Genesis program is dedicated to helping those living with mental illness, addiction and homelessness by providing a safe, drug free environment to live and strengthen vital life skills.
The needs and timeline for each applicant widely varies and we will work one-to-one with each resident to personalize a program plan with them. We look forward to each applicant becoming a contributing member of the Genesis community, while working on individual needs and self-perseverance in achieving personal goals. We use the S.M.A.R.T. goals system coupled with bi-weekly one-to-one check in’s to achieve specific personal goals. Some of these goals may include: counselling, job search, recovery and housing.
Other responsibilities associated with Genesis program could include completing therapeutic duties, volunteer work and attending group meetings/ check ins. We have 8 male beds, 2 male suites, 3 female beds and 1 female suite.
