We provide emergency food hampers for people who have not been able to register with the food bank, moving into a new home, or are struggling to make ends meet.

Emergency Food Hamper clients come from a variety of backgrounds, including:

  • Working families, and single mothers or fathers
  • Seniors
  • Individuals trying to make ends meet
  • People dealing with a natural disaster (Fire, Flood, etc.)
  • New immigrants and residence of Maple Ridge or Pitt Meadows
  • Parents and/or children with disabilities

How to Apply for an Emergency Food Hamper

Step 1.

Book an Appointment

Call our office or EMAIL to arrange a convenient time to see our Family & Community Service Coordinator.

Step 2.

Register for Assistance

When you come in for your appointment you must bring in the following: Proof of address, Government issued photo ID, and Proof of income.

Step 3.

Take Your Hamper Home

Upon approval, you will be able to take your first Emergency Food Hamper home with you! No waiting period, take your hamper home same day you register!

Step 4.

Book Ahead

Clients MUST call ahead and book a date to pick up their Emergency Food Hamper. These hampers can be picked up from our office up to once per month, per person. (604) 463-8296 ext. 112

We are always looking for donations to our Emergency Food Hamper Program.
Please drop off non-perishable food items, and other essentials to our Admin Office, or click the DONATE button to provide a monetary donation.
