We provide emergency food hampers for people who have not been able to register with the food bank, moving into a new home, or are struggling to make ends meet.

Emergency Food Hamper clients come from a variety of backgrounds, including:

  • Working families, and single mothers or fathers
  • Seniors
  • Individuals trying to make ends meet
  • People dealing with a natural disaster (Fire, Flood, etc.)
  • New immigrants and residence of Maple Ridge or Pitt Meadows
  • Parents and/or children with disabilities

How do I qualify?

In order to qualify for our Emergency Food Hamper program applicants must posses ALL of the following criteria:

  1. Currently reside in Maple Ridge or Pitt Meadows
  2. Struggling with low income or are in need of additional resources
  3. Have the ability to provide current proof of income and photo ID or be referred by another agency

How do I apply?

Please note: When you apply be prepared to provide proof of income. This can be a bank statement showing contents of all accounts and/or pay stubs (from employment or other sources). Proof of income can be submitted via. email or in person when prompted.

Can I apply on behalf of someone else?

When will I receive my Emergency Food Hamper?

Once we have reviewed your application our team will contact you to book a day/time to pick up your hamper.

Please drop off non-perishable food items, and other essentials to our Admin Office, or click the DONATE button to provide a monetary donation.
