UpCycle

The Salvation Army UpCycle clothing trailer parked outdoors.

About the program

UpCycle is a clothing recycling program where community members can visit the trailer 4 days a week to select new clothing items to replace shoes, pants and tops that may be overworn or seasonally ineffective.

The UpCycle program is run by the residents of our Genesis Transitional Housing program, where they learn valuable life-skills such as washing and sorting, bookkeeping, interpersonal skills and accountability.

Donate to UpCycle

Our UpCycle program is always in-need of gently worn men's and women's clothing.  Donations can be dropped off at our shelter location at 22188 Lougheed Hwy.

Jeans, sweatpants, tshirts, sweaters, sweatshirts, running shoes, casual shoes, belts, large handbags are all needed.  In addition, NEW socks and underwear can go a long way in restoring faith and dignity to members of our community in-need.
