About Ridge Meadows Ministries
Who we are
The Salvation Army has served the communities of Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows since 1990. While our mission has remained consistent, the scope and visibility of our services have grown significantly, particularly with the establishment of a permanent facility—The Caring Place—at 22188 Lougheed Highway, now known as Ridge Meadows Ministries.
To better serve local families, our Community and Family Services have recently expanded to a new location at 23315 Dewdney Trunk Road. Over the years, our programs have evolved to meet the changing needs of the community, offering support such as emergency food hampers, school lunch programs, Christmas assistance, and a variety of other family-centered services.
Our history

The Salvation Army Ridge Meadows Ministries collaborates closely with BC Housing, School District 42, and numerous community partners to address homelessness and reduce poverty. Our relationships with other social and health service providers continue to deepen as we actively participate in local initiatives aimed at identifying and supporting residents who require assistance in achieving stability for themselves and their families.
The Salvation Army Ridge Meadows acknowledges that we live, work and provide services on the traditional and unceded territories of the Katzie and Kwantlen First Nations.
