Kitchen

Every day we work hard to accomplish our school lunch programs, community meals, and special events. This is only possible thanks to our valued volunteers who dedicate their time to help sort, package, prepare, and serve food.

Shelter

We value keeping our shelter safe and clean. Every day we wash, dry, and fold 60 bed sets. Shelter volunteers help lighten this load as well as help serve meals and coffee.

Special Events

Throughout the year, we host a variety of special events to raise awareness and funds for the many social services we offer at The Salvation Army Ridge Meadows Ministries. These events are successful only with the help from many volunteers.

Office

We may need additional help at our Admin Office, this usually includes lifting boxes and sorting goods for our Community & Family Service Programs. You may also be required to answer phone calls and greet clients.

Street Ministries

This program provides weekly outreach using our Community Crisis Response Unit for street ministry to community.  We provide meals and the volunteers may have the opportunity to offer other goods to people in need. The ministry is run exclusively with volunteers, including the coordinator who is a member of another church in the community.

Emergency disaster services

This program provides Emergency Disaster Services to the community through the use of our Community Crisis Response Unit. It is staffed with volunteers and we have several teams ready to go when the call comes. Some situations that may require our Emergency Disaster Services include apartment building fires, floods, extreme weather or other natural disasters, etc.
