2020 was a year like no other with the life-changing global pandemic at the helm. Record high unemployment left many people jobless. Thousands of individuals, families and children are at risk of being left without even the most basic necessities.

In some locations across Canada, The Salvation Army has seen the number of people needing support increase by almost five times since 2019—an increase not seen since the Second World War.
