04 Mar Poverty Isn’t Always Easy to See
Canada is listed as one of the best countries to live in, so it may be hard to believe that one in 10 Canadians live in poverty. The Salvation Army is trying to change that. Present in over 400 communities across the country and in 128 countries around the world, The Salvation Army offers practical assistance for children and families, shelter for people experiencing homelessness and rehabilitation for people who have lost control of their lives to an addiction. Together, we can build strong, compassionate communities where every child, adult and family can thrive and live out their full potential.
