Fight Human Trafficking

The Salvation Army has been active in the fight against human trafficking since 1865. Though a large number of BC’s sex workers can be located on the Downtown East Side smaller communities are not immune, with Maple Ridge being no exception. Our doors are always open to individuals seeking shelter, either weather or lifestyle related, they will always be welcome.

“The Salvation Army is committed to protecting and serving victims of sex trafficking and has provided assistance in Canada and around the world for more than 100 years. In fact, The Salvation Army was one of the first organizations in Canada to open a shelter dedicated to providing services to victims of human trafficking.” – The Salvation Army Canada
