Emergency Disaster Services

This program provides Emergency Disaster Services to the community through the use of our Critical Crisis Response Unit. It is staffed with volunteers and we have several teams ready to go when the call comes.

Street Ministry

This program provides weekly outreach using our Community Crisis Response Unit for street ministry to community. The ministry is run exclusively with volunteers, including the coordinator who is a member of another church in the community.

Once Upon a Sheep Yarn Shop

Since 2006 the Society’s mission has been to provide the community with a local yarn shop that carries quality yarn and knitting products, as well as an inviting atmosphere to enjoy your craft. All profits are channeled to support The Salvation Army Ridge Meadows Ministries. The shop is completely run by a group of dedicated volunteers. Tuesday night the shop is open from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. for an evening of knitting, laughter and fellowship. Help is always available and free – we invite you to join us in the shop or at the Tuesday night drop-in. For more information contact (604) 477-7445.  Check out the website at onceuponasheep.ca
